This in mind boggling stupid. A US company that manufactures rifle sights has been found to be including references to Biblical passages on the rifle sights.
One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as “the light of the world.” John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
You have to wonder if these type of Christians have ever read the Bible. Not just the Old Testament but the New one. Yes, the bit all about Jesus.
It seems that, for the American Religious Right, Jesus’ message has not just been lost in translation but utterly obliterated and totally rewritten.
